The second day at Disneyland was just as great as the first, if not better. Here's what we did :)
- Got our picture taken in front of the train station - Went on Peter Pan - Went on Pinocchio - Rode Space Mountain - Drove a car on Autopia (Ben drove, and on the right side of the car like his days in England) - Got a Mickey Mouse shaped Raspberry Rose Macaron from the Jolly Holliday (oh my gosh it was SO GOOD) - Went on the Jungle Cruise - Got some Mint Julip and Mickey Mouse Beignets from the Mint Julip Bar (also SO GOOD) - Rode Big Thunder Mountain - Went on the Teacups - Went on Alice in Wonderland - Rode Star Tours - Went on Finding Nemo Submarines - Got a Lobster Roll at Harbour Galley (food was pretty good, but the location was great. We were in a beautiful tucked-away corner surrounded by trees and right on the river.) - Rode Winnie the Pooh - Got a Chocolate Chip cookie from Pooh's Corner for me (it was delicious) - Got a Mickey Mouse Pretzel and cheese for Ben (so salty and delicious) - Went on the Mark Twain Riverboat (this was my first time, and I loved it.) - Walked through shops - Got a Matterhorn Macaroon - Went on Indiana Jones - Went on Haunted Mansion - Went on Storybook Canal Boats - Went on Small World - Had dinner at Plaza Inn (delicious pot roast) - Went on Tomorrowland Rockets - Walked around Main St - God another Mickey Raspberry Macaron (it was that good) - Fireworks were canceled due to weather so we went on Peter Pan again! - Rode the Carousel - Rode Indiana Jones again - Got another choc chip cookie for the road

Ever since last Christmas, I've been planning on a flocked live Christmas tree for this year. I just love the way they look and I really wanted to try one out. :)
But I couldn't find anywhere in Idaho Falls that sold flocked live trees, or that carried tree flocking itself. So we ended up getting a normal tree (that is beautiful and that I love anyway), but I was definitely still a bit disappointed. So when we walked in the door of my parents' house (we're out in California visiting) and saw that they had gotten a flocked tree this year, my heart skipped a beat. They told me they knew I hadn't been able to find one, so they got one so I could still have one for Christmas. It was a wonderful gift, and one that I'll always remember. I love you Mom and Dad. Thanks for the beautiful tree and the wonderful visit. :) Ben and Crystal and their kids came to visit Saturday and Sunday! It was so much fun, and it really made it feel like Christmas time. :) We ordered pizza for dinner, and opened presents, and ate peanut butter blossoms. I didn't really get any good pictures because I was too busy having fun, but I want to always remember their fun visit!
Cora slept over last night and it was so much fun. We snuggled, watched movies, painted nails, and made Christmas cookies together. :) (she took this picture) :)
It was so fun and I already want to do it again. :) Love you Cora :) Ben took me on a wonderful date the other night to the lighting of the museum Christmas lights :) There were tons of beautiful Christmas decorations and we got to go all over the museum and see all the Idaho history too. Then afterwards, we went next door and had hot cocoa and candy and got to hold kittens from the animal shelter. It was awesome :) And then we went home and had pizza for dinner. Perfect date. Thanks Babe :)
It snowed... and then it a snowed a lot more. Ben took me a fun date... and I started my long-term sub job (covering someone's maternity leave) at my favorite school :) We made cookies and cocoa... and here's another picture of our Christmas tree because I love it. :)
We got our Christmas tree Saturday night, and decorated it Sunday while we watched Christmas movies. :) I love that picture of Ben holding the lights! (it was completely in the moment, not staged.)
My two favorite things: Ben and Christmas ;) Here are some pictures of our Thanksgiving decor at our house, and then the table and pie table Thanksgiving day at Ben and Crystal's house. Sadly, I forgot to take pictures of the actual meal or the people, but it was all wonderful! Such a beautiful, fun, and delicious Thanksgiving :)
Crackers + cheese and grapes for dinner, by the light of our Christmas Tree ;)
I tried waiting until after Thanksgiving to start decorating for Christmas, but I just couldn't help it. I decorated the bathroom, and I put the fake tree up in our bedroom. But I'll HAVE to wait a bit longer to get our real tree for the living room, because the stores don't even have them yet haha. |
