Ben is doing a great job selling! I am so proud. And we're liking it here in New York :)
I decided that I want to make a post of a rainbow of juices. :) So I'm taking pictures of each juice I make that is one of the colors of the rainbow, and hopefully I'll have it completed soon. It's fun, and it gives me inspiration for what combinations of juice to make. Tonight we went over to another couple's place for a game night! We played the game where you have someone's name on your forehead and you have to ask yes or no questions to figure out who it is. Some of the names were Santa Claus, Jennifer Aniston, and Genie from Aladdin. (Also they have the cutest baby and it's making me pretty baby-hungry.) We get to sleep in late tomorrow because our new ward doesn't start until 1 o'clock. SCORE! xoxo, R

Day two of my juice fast went well!
I try to get a good amount of vegetables into my juices, but sometimes I just want a really fruity one! So to get some veggies out of the way, I made one that had a ton of celery and spinach (plus cucumber and apples and blueberries). Then a couple hours later I made one the was just pure strawberry and banana juice. It was SO GOOD. You know something has got to taste good when it's hot pink. ;) Days 3 and 4 are supposed to be when you feel the worst (the detox phase) so we'll see how it goes tomorrow! B is dying for me to finish haha so goodnight :) R Ben's dinner: My dinner: My first day of the juice fast went well! I had four tasty juices, and I didn't crave anything that bad. I'm looking forward to day two! R My juicer came in the mail today!!! I'm starting my juice fast tomorrow! I am so excited.
I made some carrot/orange/spinach juice tonight, just to test it out, and it was so good. So excited! R I love grocery shopping.
I love everything about it! I love meal-planning. I love making lists. I love organizing my lists into different categories. I love putting my items in order of where they will be as I walk through the store so I can be super efficient... okay yeah I'm a little obsessed. I even love putting the food away when I get home. I really did NOT like it as a kid though haha, and I feel so bad now because everyone (myself included) would always leave it to my mom to put everything away! Sorry, Mom! So today when I finally got to go to the grocery store, it was so fulfilling hahaha. I went with a couple other wives that are out here, and it was so fun! I got tons of fruits and veggies for my juice fast (the juicer is arriving tomorrow!), and lots of different things to pack for Ben's lunch, and I splurged and got those incredibly delicious spinach ravioli from Costco. YUM. If I was ever on Death Row, those ravioli would probably be part of my last meal. Did you know that "ravioli" is the plural form of "raviolo"? Weird. What would your last meal be? I'm dying to know ;) R Today I am dreaming of getting a Goldendoodle. It's a mix between a Golden Retriever and a Poodle, so it's really smart but doesn't shed (otherwise known as The Perfect Dog.)
I first saw one at work one day, when a lady brought her dog into one of my classes to talk about her business and how her dog helps her with it. That day, I went home and told B that I wanted one! Buuuuut they're suuuuper expensive and we weren't allowed to have pets in our house anyway. Since then, we've seen a bunch every time we go to the airport. And then on Saturday, we saw a ton in Central Park!! And THEN, we went over to another couple's place last night for a game night, and they have one too!!! A sign, perhaps??? ;) I used to not really like dogs, but as time goes on (and maybe as I get more baby-hungry?), I'm wanting one more and more! I'm so hoping I'll look back on this post one day, curled up with our very own Goldendoodle! ;) Crossing my fingers! R |
