"It's about three hours long." "Yeah but half that is credits." Can you guess what movie the above exchange is about? ;) The Sound of Music. :) It just seemed like an Easter-y movie, so we're watching it right now. Here's what our Easter looked like: Not Pictured: The Swig knock-off cookies that we're having for dessert. ;) Today was wonderful! What a lovely first Easter together. Ben's mom is here, which made things a little more festive, and I made a big meal (once upon a time the idea of cooking for four hours straight was inconceivable, but now it's something I - dare I say - love doing.) We had Easter baskets, a delicious lemon cream cheese danish for brunch, and Ben and I even hid eggs for each other to find. But the most important thing about Easter is the whole reason for it all - the resurrection of the Savior, the miracle that changed the world. He lives! And I am better because of it. Happy Easter! R

It is amazing how much growth we can achieve, when we're given the opportunity. Spring is the season of rebirth, and reminds us of the miracle of the Lord's Atonement in our behalf....

Your Easter looks so delightful! The food so delish! Your grandmas would be so proud, both being fantastic cooks and super creative. I know I'm sure proud. Now I want to watch your movie. I did watch Call the Midwife, one of the seventh season, on PBS. Gotta love those nuns and midwives, so kind and committed. Most are very Christlike in their nonjudgmental service. ❤️
