This is my favorite picture of me and my mom. We're both dying laughing because that's what we do when we're together (especially when we're not supposed to). My mother is the most selfless, patient, kind, wise, understanding, and angelic person I have ever known. She is my influence and my inspiration, and I strive to be more like her every day. She taught me faith and conviction, patriotism and courage. (She also taught me my times tables and how to write in cursive because she was my third grade teacher.) ;) She gave me a love for Anne of Green Gables, for reading, for home-cooked food, for Provo, for the Gospel, and for You've Got Mail. She is everything that I believe a mother should be, and I hope that someday I can be a mother to my own kids like she has been and is to me. "All that I am, or ever hope to be, I owe to my angel mother" (Abraham Lincoln). I love you, Mom! R

I love that picture! You were the perfect bride, and still are. I am so honored to be your mother! We've had some wonderful times and crazy times too. I imagine your grandmas are looking down on you and are proud of the woman you've become!! (I'm sorry I was so hard on you in third grade:/ I just knew that you were the smartest, most talented one in the class, so I didn't let you get away with anything!) Love you
