We got home from our weekend in Utah late last night, and the house was freezing! I had turned the thermostat down for while we were gone, so the first thing I did when I got inside was run to the thermostat and turn it up to a toasty 66 degrees (we have really acclimated to Idaho winter temperatures haha!)
And when the heater came on, it smelled sooooooooo good. You know how certain scents make you remember things? Well I guess in reality the heater smelled like dust and maybe something burning, but to me it smelled like fall 2016 and moving into our first house and fall colors and perfect temperatures and learning how to cook for two and slowly accumulating furniture and those first couple months of being married and oh my goodness it smelled so good. I love you, Ben. I loved being married to you in those first couple months, and I love being married to you now. Also, will you please scratch my back? :) R
