No post yesterday because I was super sick, but I'm feeling a lot better now. So I decided that the posts will be every day, except for when I'm super sick and it hurts to look at a computer screen. ;)
Today B and I flew to California for a family wedding this weekend! I was so happy when we stepped off the airplane; it just immediately felt like home. I love California! My parents were waiting for us in baggage claim, just behind the gate. They always do this for me and I love it. They also always have signs that say my name on them and I hope they never stop the tradition! Some highlights from the flight were: 1. There were a few families that were traveling together, and they had daughters around the same age (probably around 5-7) that were obviously BFF's. As soon as the seatbelt sign went off, these girls were jumping up and down on their seats, parading down the aisle like they owned the place, etc. It was so cute and so fun to watch. 2. A boy from one of these families (pretty young too, probably around 8) kept exclaiming things like "We're gonna die!!" and "Oh, we're landing soon. Now we're gonna die!" (He was totally joking and it was hilarious.) I've always been a little nervous on airplane flights, but for some reason his ridiculous exclamations made me more calm than usual. 3. There was a lady with the cutest dog ever across the aisle from us. B and I have been dying to get a dog but we're not allowed to have one in the place we're renting. That hasn't stopped us from pining for one though! This dog was a mini schnauzer - they are the perfect medium size, they look manly enough for B to be seen with it, and they don't shed. I think we found our dream dog! The best highlight, though, was getting to see my parents and coming home to their house where I grew up, and most of all, going to bed in 3 2 1 goodnight R
