Today I was reading a hilarious story about one of my friends twisting her ankle, and it made me think of the part in Anne of Green Gables when Anne is walking along the top of the roof, then tragically falls and twists her ankle. This friend and I both love Anne Shirley, and I knew she would get the reference, so I quickly googled "ann shirley ankle twist" to see if I could find any pictures. And do you know what happened??? Google automatically CORRECTED my spelling of Ann to "Anne with an E". 1. How could I be so dumb as to spell it wrong when the number one rule of Anne Shirley Blythe is that ANNE IS SPELLED WITH AN E??? 2. How amazing is it that Google literally corrected me, and in a supremely snarky way, I might add. It literally said this: Never making that mistake again! R

I'll always love AnnE. First heard her story from my 6th grade teacher at Rock Canyon Elementary School in Provo. She'll always be a hero. Hope one of my grandchildren is named after her!
