Today we got to go to B's cousin's wedding. It was so fun! They got married in the Los Angeles LDS Temple, which is where we got married (it was even in the same Sealing Room!) It was a beautiful ceremony, and it made me think a lot about when B and I got married just six months ago. It was like a flashback to our wedding day! But far less stressful. :)
It was the most beautiful day, and the weather was perfect for pictures. It was so fun to see them come out of the temple! That was my favorite part of our wedding day - seeing all of our friends and family out there waiting for us, and then watching them cheer for us as we came out! B was the Best Man so we had to stay for a lot of pictures, and then we went to the luncheon where we had sandwiches and cookies. (I am a cookie fanatic so I was very pleased.) Then we drove to Palmdale where the reception was going to be later that night, and killed some time at the mall. We eventually made our way over to the Palmdale Stake Center, finished up some homework for our online BYUI classes, and then it was time for the reception. The reception was beautifully decorated, with white fabric and lights sweeping up from the walls to the middle of the ceiling. There were fruits and veggies, as well as a waffle bar with tons of toppings, and breakfast sausage (as per the Groom's request). (B ate at least 10 sausages.) And the wedding cake was delicious! The Bride and Groom were glowing, and we are so happy for them. And also very jealous that they are on a cruise for their honeymoon right now; we went on a cruise for ours too and it was honestly the most stress-free week of my life! I'm trying to convince B that we should have a second honeymoon for our anniversary this year ;) Here's to hoping! R
