We live in a pretty old house, so the closets are pretty small. We share a closet that's probably 2 ft by 4 ft. The other day, B was joking that I am slowly inching my clothes further and further onto his side, leaving him less and less space.
He's right. ;) Today was wonderful. What started as running some errands turned into an impromptu date! We started at the mall, where we mostly looked at shoes (we're thinking of splurging on some new running shoes!) And while we were there, B got a text from Pizza Pie Cafe with a coupon, so we decided to go there for dinner. They have their mint brownie pizza right now for March and it is delicious. On our way out, one of the employees asked B if the mint brownie was good, and we thought this was kind of random, until we realized that he had probably seen B grab a plate of no less than 5 pieces of the mint brownie pizza. After that, we decided to drive around because we hadn't ever been that far on the other side of town before. We ended up driving up into the hills on the outskirts of Ammon, and when we got to the top we had the most beautiful view of Idaho Falls. We spotted the temple way across town which was neat because our house is just a couple blocks away from it, so it was almost like we could see our house. I said "Hi, house!" and then I made B say hi to the house too. He's a good sport ;) Then as we drove back home, with the windows down, we decided to stop at D.I. and do a little thrifting. I found a gorgeous huge basket, a cake dome, some brown packaging paper (I like to wrap presents with it), and some ribbon. B found a wooden baseball bat and a miter guide, whatever that is. :) It was lots of fun, and we agreed that it was our best haul yet. It was a great date. Oh and we never got our errands done. :) R

Perhaps the most important errand was having fun together...

What fun having a D.I. so close and finding such great deals! Remember the gorgeous goblets we found at D.I. last fall, for your wedding receptions? My most economical find was a pair of running shoes that fit me perfectly and have taken me on endless walks, hikes and jogs. Cost: $6.00. Thanks D.I.

I have waited an entire year for that mint brownie at Pizza Pie Cafe! So when the kids went to the dentist and passed with no cavities we celebrated at Pizza Pie Cafe. No my horror whoever made the brownies that day made them thin and totally dry!! So patiently I waited until that pan ran out and told them they needed a new one. Well that one was flat and dry too, AND it was cold!

OH NO!!! That breaks my heart! Part of the reason we went was that you had told us about the mint brownies! Ours were flat too, but they were hot and moist, so they were really good.
