My parents left yesterday. I was sad. I probably won't get to see them again until the end of Summer. We started off our last day together with a walk along the river. We walked all the way down to the bridge on Broadway to get a good view of the temple. When we got back, I fixed B some breakfast and sent him off to work, then made breakfast for my parents and myself. We had fried potatoes with green onion, cilantro, cayenne, and pepper jack cheese on a bed of spinach. It was goooood. In fact, I'm craving some right now. Then we went down the street to the Melaleuca store. It was seriously a dream-come-true for my mom. I'm talking Disneyland for her. She has been a Melaleuca customer for as long as I can remember (she never really tried to sell it, she just liked the products for her own use) and seeing all the products on display and in person was really fun for her. It was actually really fun for me too. :) When we got back to our house, my dad went and took a nap and my mom and I watched Cinderella (the 2015 one). We both love that movie, so it was really nice to watch it together. When it came time for them to leave, we hugged and said goodbye. Then I walked them out to their car and we took a last-minute picture together. They got in the car, and waved goodbye as they drove off. I stood in the street, and watched them drive away until their car was out of view. The neighbor lady thought I was crazy. Love you guys! Thanks for visiting. R

Goodbye was hard to say, but I know you will be just fine! You possess the same qualities that Cinderella does--courage and kindness. You're not afraid to try new things and go new places, and more importantly, you are kind and forgiving. ( I like to add one more thing to Cinderella's: and be diligent). Love you ❤️

It seems that when we visit anyone, or anywhere, that the visits were never long enough. While I enjoy the arrivals, I do not like the leavings.... I disagree with the Shakespeare line, "...Parting is sweet sorrow..." Sorrow is not thing that is sweet.

I agree that the anticipation and the memories are often just as good as the thing itself!
