Today was so wonderful (for me at least). For Ben, it was probably pretty miserable. He stayed home from work because he has pretty much every sick symptom you could come up with: chills, fever, nausea, coughing, sneezing, runny nose, etc.
The reason the day was so wonderful for me is that we got to spend the whole day together (which never happens, except on Sundays, but we have specific things to do on Sundays), so it was so nice to be able to spend an entire day, doing whatever we wanted together (as long as it didn't irritate any of the above symptoms). I never, ever, in my wildest dreams would have thought I would say this, but we spent the day having a Twilight marathon, and it was one of the funnest days of my life. I had only ever seen the first two movies, so the last three were all new for me (I never read the last two books either). And I've gotta tell you - those Twilight movies are just so dang entertaining. Maybe because I was wayyyyy into it all when I was like 13 and it was bringing it all back? Or maybe because they're super dramatic and it's fun to make fun of Jacob being such a downer and the part where Rosalie crushes the glass bowl in her hands (LOL). Whatever the reason, I don't care, it made for a dang fun day. Ben is still feeling very sick, and I'm hoping he can get some good rest tonight. We were both tossing and turning last night, and we've been up since around 5 this morning. So I got some Nyquill at the store and we meant to go to bed earlier so he could get some good rest tonight, but to be honest, we just couldn't stop watching Breaking Dawn: Part 2. ;) So it's now past two in the morning, we're finally going to sleep, and I'm admittedly very sad that the marathon is over. We'll have to find another saga to watch in case he stays home again tomorrow :) R
